Hey, I heard Gw 2 is coming and I'm not very happy because I don't know will my old acc with all the characters be lost! So will it be like that or the charactrers will remain?

gw2 is coming yes, but not for a while yet ^^
A Net has been shoving it out already quite a bit^^
anyway
gw1 will still exist in my knowledge.
for gw2 you will get a new account

Upon release of GW2 you will make a new account ANet will reserve your GW1 char names for you so you can use them on GW2. if you also have EOTN on GW1 the stuff in there will grant you access to some good stuff from the start of you GW2 account.

GW2 is set for release near the back end of 2009 with open Bate been close to the release date

You forgot your email and password? That is all you need to get your account up and running. All info is saved server side. Your opther topic said you have been playing for 1 month, then maybe a change to 3 months. Is this a second account? I'm just not sure what your problem is, as the info you have posted contradicts itself.

GW2 is a completely different game, the two accounts are separate. You can continue to play GW1 with your GW1 account, and GW2 will be played with your GW2 account. SO no, you will not lose your GW1 characters.

And so will everybody elses. It is a BRAND NEW game. The events of GW2 happen 300 years in the future. All your characters are dead.
But its not like it matters. GW most likely won't be released for probably another 3 years (the guy who said 2009 is way off).

And while your characters may be "lost" you will be able to transfer over various accomplishments, titles, armor (or something unlocked with them) via the Hall of Monuments in Eye of the North.

As stated, GW2 will be released AT EARLIEST in 2010/2011... it may be even later, as it hasn't been explictly announced yet. Also, no information regarding whether there will be an open beta or not has been given out, much less when such a beta would be.

Im so looking forward to GW2. The Realse Date will be announced in late 2009 but will has said earlier not be a 100% sure fact. But the fact that A Net use so much time is only a evidence that GW2 will kick all competion away and be an amazing game

the release date got set back as they decided to add even more content and make it a better game. I;m not complaining though. I'd rather wait for an awesome game, then not have to but it being a crappy game

gw2 is TBA in 2010-2011. Thats 2 years just too be announced. It might not come out till 2012+ for all we know.
